I highly recommend Austin natural mattress! They have the best mattresses on the floor. Organic and non-toxic mattresses are so important for your health. This place does not disappoint with so many to try out.Charles provided us with exceptional service from beginning to finish! We had already purchased a high quality nontoxic mattress from Amazon and had it delivered to our new home here in Austin and were not happy with the mattress. It was causing me to have lower back pain from a former injury. My husband went to Austin natural mattress and purchased an Avocado organic topper from Charles at Austin Natural mattress. He ended up also lending us some organic pillows to try out as well. At the same time, my husband also purchased some super luxurious, beautiful and organic sheets from Coyuchi. They are so soft and breathable. I love them!We tried the topper for a couple of weeks and decided that there was not enough support from the mattress below it so my husband and I went back together to Austin Natural Mattress. Charles was extremely helpful and very very educational on the types of mattresses and what would be best suited for my specific needs for my low back pain and hips as I am a side sleeper. I ended up purchasing a mattress from their in-house line of mattresses. The one I chose is called the Deep Eddie. He also gave us free shipping and a refund for the topper that we had purchased prior to this. I couldn’t recommend this business more highly!I can’t wait to go back and shop for some more organic cotton bedding and robes!!! Five stars service and store! Thanks a million Charles!

Shopping for a mattress or multiple mattresses can be daunting to say the least. They can get shockingly expensive these days. It's a process I consider a "grudge purchase" : something you really don't want to spend a grip on, but you probably should: which isn't exactly the most pleasant process. I recently had to purchase multiple mattresses for a cabin property that desperately needed an update. My sister-in-law was having a laugh at my expense / the prospect of me driving around alone to try out mattresses. I found several places that were oddly, permanently closed and also ended up in a few "Mattress Firms" (which I think must be a front for something!). After a lot for frustration and some laughter, my sister-in-law suggested that I try Austin Natural mattress: that she would never shop anywhere else...When I walked into the location I was pleasantly surrounded by some very interesting music playing on their house system. It was some arcane Ween music from a somewhat obscure live album. They've been one of my favorite bands for more than a few decades now, and you don't often hear their music in a retail setting! I was greeted by a pleasant gentleman wearing a Ween T-shirt & noticed he had an inconspicuous yet somewhat prominent (and esoteric!) Ween tattoo on his calf. I knew I was in the right place. If I remember correctly Charles (the sales rep) told me he had Ween Shirts for practically every day of the year & he intended to wear a different one every day. As someone that actually followed this band on some tours back in the late 1990s: this is fascinating news that brings back a flood of fond memories. We exchanged more pleasantries about our mutual Ween fandom as I sampled the wide array of gorgeous all organic and non-chemical mattresses. They have some killer ones, and for something you spend close to 1/3 of your life on: it seems wise to get something that doesn't off-gas hydrocarbons and other chemicals as they slowly break down.After trying several really nice mattresses that ranged widely in price I settled on the Avocado all organic mattress: King sized. I didn't ever think I could afford such a luxurious item, but I somehow got in on the last minute of their Labor Day sale. As a laborer myself: I couldn't be more pleased with the process and outcome of this exchange.Several months in, and I'm sleeping more comfortably than ever. The only drawback is that traveling has become more difficult because most places don't have beds nearly as nice as mine. It was great to find what I was looking for from a local dealer that believes in protecting the environment and keeping good vibes going in the community. I would second my sister's advice & recommend the community look no farther than Austin Natural Mattress when it comes time to improve your sleep comfort!

My family had a wonderful experience buying a new mattress with Charles R. at Austin Natural Mattress! When you walk in the door, you're greeted by a large oil painting of "The Dude" from the Big Lebowski, and that level of comfort extends to the entire experience. Charles met us and we explained we were seeking a full size mattress that wasn't too firm, not too soft, great for back and side sleepers, and was as natural as possible. Under his guidance we tried out various Avocados, Naturepedics and the store's house brand. The prices varied from low to high, and when we thought we found the one we liked, but it was too high, Charles brought out options with various toppers on other mattresses to see if we could approximate the feel we wanted that way. In the end, it was the Natural Mattress' own house brand that was the Goldilocks special, and the price was very reasonable. A mix of coils and natural plant-based latex was the key, and it was a pleasure to learn that the mattress we ordered would be made specifically for us (no dusty inventory in the back!). (I have to mention that while our family member was trying out the various beds, I tried out the adjustible platform with vibration and I melted. That's a life goal, right there.) Payment was easy - Charles wrote it up right there and all was done without a hitch. All in all, a great experience and happy to spread the word. No high-pressure tactics, just quality product and quality customer service. To make a Dadjoke, Don't Sleep on this Store! Make a stop when you're in the market for a new mattress. You won't be disappointed, and ask for Charles!
